Traffic spillover to other sites and platforms
Since, TikTok (further TT) itself recommends videos to other users, it is not surprising that such traffic can be used for other purposes. You can put in your videos QR codes, links to other social networks and thus there audience will grow. For example, by ‘pouring’ traffic to Telegram or Instagram* you will be able to monetise this audience by advertising your own or other people’s products.
